This is my third year of teaching and I am glad to be in the Hayfield Community Schools district at the Brownsdale Elementary building as a second grade teacher. I am also coaching varsity baseball, JV girls basketball, and am co-director of the summer recreation program.
I graduated from Hayfield High School in 2007, and went on to Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa where I received my degree in Elementary Education with a reading and coaching endorsement. While at Waldorf I was also on the Waldorf Warrior baseball team and ran the intramurals program during my junior year.
I am the oldest of three children and have lived in Hayfield, MN my whole life. My dad is a supervisor at Images on Metal in Kasson, MN; my mom is a 4th grade teacher at Hayfield Elementary; my sister(Jordyn) is a senior at Mankato State University; and my brother(Tyler) is a junior at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. We have one dog named Lambeau. Yes, I am a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan!!
I like to keep myself busy by playing and being a part of many activities that usually involve sports. Whether it is coaching or playing, I just like being around the sports scene and all the things that go along with it. I can often be found at all the different Hayfield sporting events as the blue and gold runs deep in my veins. Go Hayfield Vikings!!
